Join Central Oregon Medical Society for our regulary monthly Med Talks and Annual Events! COMS is open to all providers (MD, DO, NP, & PA) across Central Oregon.

Monthly Med Talks are hosted on the 3rd Thursday of every month.  The Med Talk schedule for 2025 and 2026 is:

• November 20th: Dr. Kimberly Milbrandt, Neurocognitive Testing
• January 22nd: Dr. Anne Onishi- Trauma surgery and Medical Examiner
• February 19th: Dr. Matthew Ashley, Urology – Updates on Prostate Cancer Screening/Testing
• March 12th: Dr. Sierra Miller- “Listening to the Front Lines: A Clinician Forum on Healthcare Challenges”
• April 7th- COMS Annual Spring Meeting- Panel discussion. “Navigating Healthcare Reform: Connecting Politics with Providers on the Frontline.”
• May 21st- Dr. Ozvaldo Schirripa, Clinical Geneticists:  “What is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and it’s spectrum?”
• June 18th- Dr. Laura Lacey, PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist- “Updates on GLP-1 medications”
